     DISTANCE LEARNING?
   WHEN? WHERE? HOW?

Distance learning is very different to studying at face-to-face institutions. Naturally then, you may have many questions related to how this form of study works. Read on to find the answers to the most common queries we get about studying via distance learning at MPMA

HOW DO I REGISTER?

Apart from giving us a call, you can initially make contact with us through various platforms such as WhatsApp, Facebook, email or our website. Here you can fill out an online registration form and a student advisor will make contact to guide you through the whole process. Once you have paid your registration fee, you can come collect your study pack or have it delivered to you via courier or post office (depending on the method you chose) and you ready to start studying!

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY STUDY MATERIALS?

After your registration has been processed, your study materials will be dispatched to you through your chosen method of either courier or post, you can also come collect your material when staying around. If you choose courier, your books will arrive within 8 working days. You will be provided a tracking number so that you can track your delivery. If you choose post, your books will get to you within 7 – 14 working days.

CAN I STUDY FROM ANYWHERE?

Yes! We can deliver your study material to anywhere in South Africa. You can then complete your assignments and send them back to us via post or courier

HOW ARE MY ASSIGNMENTS RECEIVED AND MARKED?

You can submit your assignments to us via email, courier or post. If you live close to our main office in Rustenburg, you can deliver it by hand. Our assesssors will mark the assignments, which takes around 14 working days. Marks are then emailed for students to access, which takes another 7 working days.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I AM STRUGGLING WITH MY COURSEWORK?

If you have some questions about your coursework or you are struggling with your assignments, we have assessors available to assist you. All you have to do is email your enquiry through to chair@mpma.co.za or info@mpma.co.za

WHAT OTHER SUPPORT IS IN PLACE FOR ME DURING MY STUDIES?

We have a dedicated student support team who will be able to answer any enquiries you have over the phone, email or our WhatsApp line.  

WILL YOU HELP ME TO FIND A JOB AFTER I HAVE COMPLETED MY STUDIES?

Unfortunately, MPMA does not offer work placements, but we can provide you with expert advice on how to go about looking for a job and/ or starting your own business

WHERE CAN I DO MY PRACTICALS

You can do your practicals with us or any other pest control company of your choice
